Global Staffing Partnership for Cloud Solutions Provider

Client Context

The client is an innovative cloud solution provider focused on enabling clients to build and run hybrid applications combining traditional, mission-critical applications with cloud-native capabilities. They are the only public cloud solution provider that supports traditional x86 and IBM AIX®, IBM System i™ and Linux on IBM Power® applications running together in the same environment.

Their customers are able to become more agile by modernizing the technology and processes behind their business applications, accelerating innovation and integration with cloud-native services and no vendor lock-in.

BroadPoint Staffing Solution

BroadPoint group was engaged to help fulfill the client’s professional services vision. At the time of BroadPoint bring brought on, their client cloud migration projects (typically from client’s on premises infrastructure to the client’s cloud solution) relied entirely on in-house engineers - who were engaged on multiple client accounts at any given time. After a decade of this operating model, there were knowledge gaps, no repeatable processes, migration methodologies and a client account service gap that led to dissatisfaction and stalling of cloud adoption.

BroadPoint group initially focused efforts on hiring Client Engagement Leaders (CELs) by regions in US, Canada and Europe with extensive business and technology transformation experience in management consulting and within the industry environments. The CELs took on not only end to end client account management and adoption responsibilities, but also developed and implemented repeatable methodologies, for the end to end client migration lifecycle - while also filling in knowledge gaps and feeding client feedback to the product and engineering teams to help build a more robust product.

With the Client' customer accounts continuing to grow and more engaged than ever, BroadPoint was tasked with hiring Cloud Architects and Engineers and several DevOps Engineers all focused on enabling customer cloud adoption.

Through repeated successes over time, the relationship continued to deepen and grow with BroadPoint Group as the trusted provider for the client’s talent needs.
